A delicious vegan burger recipe with tofu, mushrooms, and wild rice, which will love even those who are not vegetarians.

Vegan Burger Recipe


200gr. tofu
2 medium onions
80gr. white mushrooms
130gr. walnut kernels
270gr. wild rice, boiled
2 garlic cloves
30gr. boiled beetroot
2 teaspoons sweet tomato paste
3 tablespoons sweet smoked paprika
1 teaspoon sweet cumin
½ κουτ. sweet chili powder
2 teaspoons sweet salt
1 teaspoon sweet pepper
2 teaspoons sweet nutritional yeast
4 teaspoons sweet soy sauce
2 teaspoons sweet apple cider vinegar
30gr. oats

For serving

6 burger buns (gluten-free)
2 large tomatoes
3 avocados
vegan mayonnaise (or sauce of your choice)
6 slices of gouda type vegetable cheese

For the potatoes

12 medium potatoes
80ml soy milk
4 teaspoons sweet oregano
4 teaspoons sweet paprika
Salt &Pepper
12 skewer sticks

For the vegan burger: Grind the mushrooms, walnuts, tofu, onions, and wild rice very well in the blender, until they become a pulp. Pour the mixture into a bowl and add the spices, apple cider vinegar, soy, tomato paste, chopped garlic, and nutritional yeast.

Beat the beetroot in the blender until it becomes creamy and add it to the mixture. Mix well, add the oats and mix again until you have a homogeneous mixture that you can form. Shape 6 burgers.

In a pan add a tablespoon of olive oil and cook over low heat, covered with a lid, turning them whenever needed, until they get a nice color on the outside and are cooked inside.2 minutes before removing from the heat, place a slice of cheese on each burger.

For the twisted potatoes: Wash the potatoes very well so that the soil leaves and pass a stick along with each potato. Carefully cut the potato, twisting it until it takes the shape of an accordion. Smear the potatoes with soy milk and sprinkle them with spices.

Preheat the oven to 180oC. Put the potatoes in a pan lined with non-stick baking paper, and bake them in the oven for 40-45 minutes until golden.

To serve: Combine the burgers by placing sauce, a slice of tomato, a slice of avocado, and the juicy vegan burger in the middle. Serve with the twisted potatoes.
