Chocolate Crinkle Cookies
Chocolate crinkle cookies are a classic cookies recipe for the Christmas holidays.
Easy to make and full of chocolate are simply delicious!

Chocolate Crinkle Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 cups all propose flour
- 1 cup of cocoa powder (unsweetened)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups good quality powdered sugar (for coating the chocolate crinkle cookies)
Method
- In a bowl combine together the flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, and salt – set aside
- Beat on, in another bowl, the vegetable oil with sugar (medium to high speed for 1-2 minutes)
- Add in the eggs (one at a time) beating on until combined
- Add in the vanilla extract beating on until combined
- Add the flour mixture beating on until combined
- Form the dough into a ball and wrap it tightly in a plastic wrap
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or up to 24 hours)
How to Bake them
Preheat the oven to 350 F ( 180 C )
Unwrap the dough
Scoop the powdered sugar into a small bowl
Roll the dough into small balls (1 inch each) and dip each ball in the powdered sugar until is completely covered ( needs a lot of powdered sugar)
Place the dough balls on the baking sheet and bake for 10-11 minutes
Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes
