Chocolate Sorbet – Simply Delicious!
Today I will saw you how to make a vegan chocolate sorbet. Full of chocolate but dairy-free is an easy and a more healthy alternative to the classic chocolate ice cream. Try it at home and you will love it!
Chocolate Sorbet Recipe
Chocolate Sorbet
- 2 cups of water
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup cocoa powder (unsweetened)
- 1/4 tbsp coarse salt
- 170 gr dark chocolate (chopped)
- 1 lemon and zest
- In a medium saucepan, add 1½ cup of water, granulated sugar, cocoa ,and salt. Put the pot on medium to high heat and stir until boiling. Bring to the boil for about 1 minute, stirring constantly until the ingredients are melted and the mixture is homogeneous. Remove the pan from the heat, add the chopped chocolate and stir to melt the chocolate. Then add the remaining water, juice, and lemon zest and stir. Allow to cool well and freeze in an ice cream maker.
